Victoria Beckham gave her mother-in-law the best present ever for her 60th birthday.

No, she didn't buy her a car or a house, but she did jet over from America with David and their three children.

Sandra Beckham had thought that her son was too busy to make her birthday meal so was really shocked when the family turned up at the restaurant.

A source told the Mirror: "They crept in through the back so they could surprise the birthday girl. There were gasps of delight when they walked in with a lot of hugs and kisses.

"After the meal David gave a speech about his mum. It was just like any other family birthday party. Their children were running around with all the other kids."

Meanwhile, Lindsay Lohan was in Las Vegas and had an early birthday party. She turns 23 on Thursday.

Lindsay's pool party allowed her to change into five different outfits as she danced to classic Michael Jackson tracks.

It is thought that she could be holding a bigger party on Thursday night for her showbiz friends.
