Hugh Jackman wanted Wolverine's mind-reading powers when he was dating.
The actor - who plays the mutant anti-hero in 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' - says knowing what the opposite sex was thinking would have saved him a lot of time and effort.
Speaking about his alter-ego's animal instincts, Hugh - who has been happily married to wife Deborra since 1996 - said: "I don't think the claws would be my ultimate power. Walking through walls would be good but telepathy would be the one. It would be very handy in cutting down on the dating process. You would be in and out of a bar in five minutes because it would only take that long to weigh up your options."
Despite wanting to be a hit with ladies when he was younger, Hugh recently revealed he falls more in love with his wife every day.
The father-of-two said: "My wife Deb, and kids Oscar and Ava, keep me grounded. When I won the Sexiest Man Alive award, Oscar said, 'What, you?'
"Deb's amazing, nothing fazes her. She doesn't have an ounce of jealousy and there's no competition between us. I've always been romantic - I love Deb more every day."
