Whenever there is a big awards show everyone wants to see what the stars decided to wear.
Yesterday's Emmy Awards certainly showed some of the hottest actresses on the planet at their best.
Hayden Panettiere and America Ferrera looked stunning in black dresses. Their simple style made them look stylish and sophisticated.
Christina Applegate turned heads in her blue and gold Reem Acra gown and Jimmy Choo heels. It is the first big event she has been to since beating breast cancer.
Brooke Shields managed to pull off one of the brightest gowns of the night. The Lipstick Jungle actress wore a fuchsia Badgley Mischka gown. This was her first Emmy Awards.
Sex and the City's Cynthia Nixon decided to go for a simple look that showed off her slim figure. Her Calvin Klein aqua coloured gown ticked all the boxes.
