Harrison Ford's Indy love
Sunday, 27 April 2008
Harrison Ford prefers playing Indiana Jones to Han Solo.
The actor - who reprises his role as the daredevil archaeologist in new movie - 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - thinks Indy is more interesting than the 'Star Wars' character that catapulted him to fame.
Ford said: "Han Solo's not so interesting to me - he's a very narrow utility in the story. It was great for my career and I had fun at the time, but I won't go back there. His outfit was not good!"
Ford starred in the original 'Star Wars' trilogy as intergalactic smuggler and Rebel Alliance member Han Solo, alongside Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher.
He then went on to be cast as leading character Indy in the adventure series.
Both Indiana Jones and Han Solo are regarded as iconic screen characters in their respective genres.
