George Clooney to become latest celebrity dad?

George Clooney has told his girlfriend he is ready to become a father.

The 46-year-old actor, famed for his bachelor lifestyle, wants to settle down with Sarah Larson, 29, following their motorbike crash last September, which left him with a cracked rib and her a broken foot.

A source is quoted by Britain's Daily Express newspaper as saying: "George said he got a terrible shock and realised how transient life is and how we never know how much time we have left. He has been in a lot of pain since the accident.

"Sarah feels her biological clock is ticking and wants to get pregnant by the time she's 30, so that has influenced George a lot. He has dated so many women and he doesn't want to lose this one along with all the others."

George - who has previously romanced Renée Zellweger, Mariella Frostrup and British model Lisa Snowden - has also said he wants to turn his houses in Los Angeles and Italy into family homes.

Last month, the 'Michael Clayton' star asked former cocktail Sarah to move into his Hollywood Hills mansion.

A source said: "Sarah is always with George anyway, so it just makes sense. Plus he likes having her around. She has made him very happy and doesn't stress him out.

"She's easygoing and loving, and that's what he needs right now."

The couple met last June after Sarah served him drinks at the 'Ocean's Thirteen' premiere in Las Vegas.

She has since met his family, proving how serious their relationship has become.
