Cynthia Nixon hates shopping.
The 'Sex and the City' actress, who reprises her role as lawyer Miranda Hobbes in the upcoming big screen adaptation this month, admits she doesn't share co-star Sarah Jessica Parker's passion for clothes and prefers her stylist to find her an outfit.
She said: "I don't shop! If I have a photo shoot or an event, I borrow something, and if I really like it and it's not crazy expensive, I ask if I can buy it. I still have some of Miranda's clothes from the show. Some of the shoes are going out of fashion a bit but the clothes are timeless.
"Sarah likes to shop! We go to the theatre or we have dinner together."
Nixon also revealed she regularly meets up with Parker and her other castmates Kim Cattrall and Kristin Davis for dinner.
She added: "It's quite amusing to watch people's reactions sometimes. One time, the four of us had dinner in Nobu in Los Angeles and we were put in the back room where no one bothered us. By the time we emerged, there were paparazzi outside and it was a bit crazy!"
