Colin Farrell is planning a permanent move to Los Angeles to spend more time with writer girlfriend Emma Forrest, according to reports.
The couple went public with the romance two weeks ago after they were spotted holding hands at the Los Angeles premiere of German film The Edge of Heaven.
Farrell had waited until they reached the six months mark before he made their relationship public.
And now friends claim Farrell is planning to move in with the English novelist who has stolen his heart.
A source told The Sun: "Colin is a changed man. He has knocked the boozing on the head and is enjoying life in a completely different way.
"Emma has been a steadying influence and they have hit it off big time.
"In the past, Colin has gone for stereotypical movie star girlfriends — airheads, models and glamour girls. Emma has offered him something completely different. It's more than just a physical attraction.
In Touch magazine reports Farrell was introduced to his new love on the set of In Bruges by director Martin McDonagh.
Farrell has been romantically linked to many top stars and was briefly married to actress Amelia Warner. He has a four-year-old son with model Kim Bordenave.
