Coldplay and the Pussycat Dolls are to perform at the MTV Movie awards.
Both bands will showcase songs from their forthcoming albums at the ceremony, which takes place in California on June 1.
Coldplay will perform 'Violet Hill', the first single from their upcoming fourth studio LP 'Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends'.
The Pussycat Dolls will debut 'When I Grow Up', the first track from their as-yet untitled second album, due for release this summer.
'Shrek' star Mike Myers is due to present this year's awards, which will see stars including Angelina Jolie, Ellen Page and Zac Efron fight it out for the golden popcorn trophies.
'Superbad' heads the way with five nominations, closely followed by 'Juno' with four.
Coldplay's track 'Violet Hill' has already notched up over two million downloads since it was released onto the band's website on April 29.
