All the AMA Winners in photos

If you want to see all the photos from the 2008 American Music Awards then look no further. From Rihanna to Christina, Kanye to Justin we have all your favourite celebrities on the red carpet, collecting their awards and performing on stage.

The biggest winner of the night was Annie Lennox who followed in the footsteps of Micheal Jackson and picked up the Award Of Merit 2008.

New Kids on the Block might not have picked up an award themselves but they impressed Dancing with the Stars' Lance Bass and Julianne Hough when they took to the stage.

Chris Brown might only be nineteen but he was officially the best singer at the whole awards after being named the Artist of the Year. He also picked up two Favourite Male Awards. Mariah Carey couldn't contain herself when she was given the Honory Award and happily posed for pics with her hubby in the press room.

Daughtry were named favourite band and Enrique Iglesias picked up the Favourite Artist Award (Latin Music). The Jonas Brothers won the T-Mobile Breakthrough Artist Award and Alicia Keys won two Favourite Album awards.

Linkin Park will be pleased with their Favourite Artist Award (Alternative Rock) and Brian Paisley should be happy that he is the Favourite Male Artist (Country Music).

Rascal Flatts celebrated being named the Favourite Band (Country) and Rihanna helped herself to two Favourite Female Awards.

Jordan Sparks, Third Day and Taylor Swift looked over the moon as they collected their Favourite Artist Awards. Three 6 Mafia picked up the Favourite Band Award (Rap) and Carrie Underwood's album was crowned the Favourite Album (Country).

Kanye West seemed happy to pick up Favourite Album and Favourite Male Artist in the Rap category.

The favourite Soundtrack Album went to Alvin and The Chipmunks.
