Cheryl Cole's big break
Tuesday, 25 March 2008
Cheryl Cole is reportedly set to become a chat show host after being "bombarded" by offers from TV companies.
The Girls Aloud star - who received mass public support after husband Ashley cheated on her with three separate women - has been approached by various networks, who are keen to see her presenting skills put to good use.
A source at London's William Morris agency, who represent the girls, said: "We've been approached by a host of TV companies all wanting to get Cheryl on board. Her old foe Charlotte Church has had some success with her Channel 4 chat show.
"Cheryl would be great. She loved co-hosting 'The Friday Night Project' with the rest of the girls and came across well on 'The Passions of Girls Aloud', where she learned to street dance. She is very keen to do more TV and have a shot at her own show, but it's very early days."
Cheryl - who took Ashley back after a series of 'make-or-break' talks - can soon be seen starring in a new television advert for low calorie chocolate bar KitKat Senses with bandmates Sarah Harding, Kimberley Walsh, Nicola Roberts and Nadine Coyle.
