Cheryl Cole set to be America's Next Top Model

Two big-name US fashion magazine editors have reportedly offered Girls Aloud stars Cheryl Cole big bucks to model for them in America.

The singer - who is currently on our screens every Saturday as a new judge on Simon Cowell's musical talent show X Factor - dazzled the magazine supremos at a charity fashion event.

Cheryl was one of a string of British babes taking part in Naomi Campbell's Fashion For Relief fundraiser as London's Fashion Week draws to a close.

The 25 year-old strutted her stuff on the catwalk along with RnB star Estelle and Beverly Knight, pop band the Sugababes and pop-offspring Lizzie Jagger and Kimberly Stewart.

But it was the Geordie lass who drew the biggest cheer of the night in a fitted Jean Paul Gaultier gown.

Cheryl told the Daily Mirror: "But I can't believe I got through it OK. I was sh**ing myself beforehand - I'm not sure I've ever been so terrified! "

But the fashion magazine bods didn't notice - a source told the paper: "They were watching the show and were blown away by Cheryl.

"She has a distinctive, Mediterranean look and is perfect front cover glossy material.

"Cheryl's poised for big things Stateside."

What a reality show story that would be: Born on Popstars: The Rivals, made famous for judging on the X Factor, becoming Britain's Next Top Model for a one of fashion gig and dominating American magazine covers months later.

Now that would be a fairytale ending!
