Britney Spears can't compete so misses American Music Awards

Britney Spears fans were left disappointed yesterday when the Circus singer failed to show at the American Music Awards.
There had been a rumour circulating that Britney was going to make a special appearance and many of her fans thought she's be opening the show with Womanizer.

They couldn't believe it when they found found out that Britney didn't even show up at the Awards.
Some Christina Aguilera fans think that Britney was too scared to sing at the event because Christina would have outsung her.
The Candyman singer had the audience on their feet as she performed in a black lacy basque, hotpants and fishnets.
Rihanna and Beyonce also put on amazing outfits for their performances and thrilled the audience with their singing and dancing ability.
Even if Britney didn't want to perform we think she should have at least watched the show from the audience.
Many people are saying that the American Music Awards were the best Awards of the year so far.
