Amy Winehouse's Blake trial result

The jury presiding over Amy Winehouse's husband Blake Fielder-Civil's trial for assault and perverting the course of justice have returned their verdict on the role played by the pub landlord.
They have found James King not guilty over claims he received a bribe from Blake Fielder-Civil.
King had been charged with conspiring to pervert the course of justice by accepting a bribe to drop his assault complaint against Blake.
However, during the trial he claimed he was intimidated into withdrawing his statement and denied conspiring to pervert the course of justice.
Fielder-Civil and Michael Brown are said to have offered him £200,000 of Amy Winehouse's money if he withdrew his statement, didn't appear in court and left the country.
Anthony Kelly and James Kennedy acted as middlemen to the deal and in an attempt to get money told a journalist about the King bribe.
They recorded the secret meetings and gave the tapes to a newspaper. The newspaper then passed the recordings onto the police.
Fielder, Brown, Kelly and Kennedy are all waiting to be sentenced as they pleaded guilty to their various offences.
